Notice is hereby given in accordance with Regulations 26 and 35 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012, that the Wiltshire and Swindon Waste Site Allocations Local Plan (“the Plan”) was formally adopted by Swindon Borough Council and Wiltshire Council on 17 January and 26 February at their respective Council meetings.

All recycling collections are on the same Thursday (fortnightly) and the first collection using the blue-lidded wheelie bin as well, will be on Thursday 1st December 2011

   Burbage Wharf bridge repair update    October 21, 2011

Wessex Water will be carrying out the temporary water main repair over the weekends of 29/30 October and 05/06 November. Works will be carried out within temporary traffic lights which will be set up on Saturday and removed on the Sunday of each weekend. Advance warning signs will be placed either side of the bridge early next week.

Works to replace the old main with an insulated main will be carried out in the new year. More information will be posted when available.
