   Annual Parish Meeting    May 15, 2018

The Annual Parish Meeting will be held in Burbage Village Hall on Tuesday 15th May. The doors will open at 6.30pm, and the bar will be available. Various local groups will have display tables, and will have members on hand to give information, and to let you know how to get involved.

The formal part of the meeting begins at 7.30pm, with presentations from the Parish Council and other local organisations.

Please come along and find out what is happening in your parish.

   Second Consultation Period for the Draft Neighbourhood Plan    January 19, 2017

The second consultation period for the Draft Neighbourhood Plan starts today, 19th January, and lasts for three weeks. See below for details of the open meetings being held, and for copies of the amended documents.

The link to the Response Form is also given below. Completed forms can be emailed to the Clerk, using the email address clerk@burbage-pc.org.uk, or can be placed in the collection box at the Post Office, High Street, Burbage, before 4pm on Thursday 9th February.

Neighbourhood Development Plan – Consultation Statement
The Consultation Statement is one of the documents that will submitted to Wiltshire Council for scrutiny with the Burbage Neighbourhood Development Plan.  It is a record of public engagement during the development of the plan, when we consulted, what the responses were and what happened subsequently.  The Statement is still in draft form and will not be finalised until the second round of consultation is complete.

The second round of consultation will commence on Thursday 19th January and last for 3 weeks, ending on Thursday 9th February 2017.  Members of Burbage Parish and the appropriate statutory bodies will be asked to comment on the revised draft Neighbourhood Plan.

   Neighbourhood Plan Consultation Form    October 13, 2016

An important part of the consultation period for the Neighbourhood Plan is gaining feedback. If you wish to comment in any way on the draft documents, please complete a Consultation Form and return it. All responses have to be recorded, so your comments really matter.

   Neighbourhood Plan Consultation Period    October 1, 2016

The consultation period for the Burbage Neighbourhood Plan starts on the 1st October and ends on 12th November. The three main documents are available below. Click on the link to view them. Three public meetings are being held in Burbage Village Hall, where you can view the documents, discuss them with the Steering Group, ask questions, and suggest amendments. Printed copies of the documents will be available at various places around the village. Burbage News will have further details.

   New Clerk for Burbage Parish Council    September 22, 2014

We're pleased to announce that Miss Joyce Turner joins the Parish Council today as the new Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer. Joyce lives in Manningford Bruce and is a qualified accountant with considerable management experience.  She is taking over from Graham Francis who is moving from the area.  The Councillors are looking forward to working with Joyce and would also like to thank Graham and wish him well in his new home.
